Apart from taking a nature tour or spending all day at the beach, there are many other activities which can be enjoyed while holidaying on Koh Samui. Those looking for some exciting fun should try go-karting. Koh Samui has some of the best go kart tracks around.
You will come across some popular go-kart venues near Chaweng, Bo Phut and Lamai. Even with large groups, this is an excellent fun choice for all visitors to the island.
Koh Samui Outdoor Go-Kart Rides & Laps
The go karting tracks on Koh Samui are quite large, with several track layouts that offer a challenging circuit for drivers of every skill level. Drive at your own pace or race everyone else. Whatever suits you!
If you have younger kids in your group, you can also choose a double go kart to accompany them. These two-seat go karts are perfect for you and your child. For extreme thrill seekers, some pro-go-karts have the fastest speed options racing up to 100kph.
Some courses also feature a challenging track with some obstacles. For your safety, you will have to wear a safety helmet at all times.
You may find a slight difference in price at all the go-karting tracks. The prices may range from 300 baht to 400 baht for around 10 minutes. While some go-kart places charge you per ride, others charge a price per minute. Also, the pro karts will cost you more than the regular karts.
What is the address for Go Kart and Elephant Trekking ?
Hi Jenny,
There are 2 main go karting providers on the island:
Samui Go-Kart – On the route 4169 Ring Road in Bophut, less than 1km north west of the turn off to go into the Fisherman’s Village.
Easykart.net – 3/196 Moo 2 Chaweng. The street name doesn’t have an English translation, but it’s next to Chaweng Lake, and north of the Hat Chaweng Boxing Stadium.
As for Elephant Trekking, you can book this through a number of online websites or at one of the many travel agencies, but if you wish to have things more flexible, you can partake really at any time at the Namuang Safari.
Thanks
Michael
