Mango Bay is a large bay with reefs and beaches on both sides. Visitors can come to enjoy several hours of snorkelling or taking in the views. The beaches are busier during the day, as most frequent Mango Bay during a day tour. Mango Bay is also a terrific jump-off point for exploring the other nearby beaches in Koh Tao.
For vibrant nightlife and stunning seascapes, head over to Sairee Beach. It’s on a prime location where most of the attractions are concentrated, making it ideal for staying several days to see them all. Not too far from the shore is a coral reef teeming with colourful fish, and the beach itself is alive with activity including beach sports, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Don’t forget to take photos with the famous long-tail boats that Sairee Beach is known for.
A visit to Koh Tao would not be complete without stopping by Tanote Bay. Snorkelling and diving aren’t the only attractions here, as the bay is endowed with lush forests, majestic boulders, and picturesque rolling hills. Another thing that makes Tanote Bay more appealing to visitors than other beaches on Koh Tao is that it’s secluded throughout the year.
Lighthouse Beach is famed for wreck snorkelling and diving. If you’ve never snorkelled with a wreck, Lighthouse Bay is an excellent place to do so. The beaches offer a variety of accommodation choices for every preference and budget in mind.
