Another attraction near the falls is the equally famous Valentine Rock, named aptly so because the stone has naturally been shaped like a heart. It’s no surprise, then, that Valentine Rock is frequented by lovers and couples from all over the globe who come and take photos in the benches nearby. According to local folklore, couples who touch the rock will have a love that lasts for all eternity.

While visiting the Sivatara waterfall, go check out the nearby viewpoint too. The hike takes just 15 minutes, and there is a steep incline, but there are handrails for safety. From the observation deck, visitors are treated to a spectacular panoramic view of Koh Samui. The observation area is equipped with a small play centre for kids, as well as a restaurant offering snacks and refreshments.
