This attraction gets its name from the Thai farmer who created it, Nim Thongsuk. The waterfall is one of the island’s many, but what makes it unique is that it’s man-made. That doesn’t take away from its beauty though; it flows openly into a lush jungle and is recognised as one of the most beautiful on the island. It’s small enough to swim in, but there are also many areas nearby where you can enjoy a nice picnic beneath the shade of the trees.

While you’re there, don’t forget to stop by the equally stunning Magic Garden, a serene and lush area blessed with cool weather. The area is entirely shaded by thick, verdant foliage, so if you’d like a break from the hot tropical weather, this area is highly recommended. What makes this garden so special is the presence of dozens of intricately-carved statues of all sizes, which have been scattered throughout the ground.

Nim Thongsuk, fondly known as Khun Nim, hired a team to create the Magic Garden once he retired. All the statues here have a story to tell; mostly about Thai folklore and mythology. The best way to get to know the garden is to hire a tour guide who can share these exciting stories with you!

Take your time looking around; you may just discover another set of statues behind a tree. There are lots of delightful hidden surprises here! The garden is located right above the Tar Nim Waterfalls, and the road leading up to the garden brings with it stunning panoramic views so don’t forget your camera.
