The bustling market is frequented by both locals and tourists who come each Saturday afternoon at 4pm onwards to shop for excellent bargains and delicious street food.

If something catches your eye, make sure to negotiate before purchasing because bargaining is expected by the vendors so that you always get value for your money. You can even get a better price if you buy more than one item from the same vendor.

But even if you aren’t planning on purchasing anything, the market is worth visiting no matter how old you are. Visitors are entertained by the dance recitals, local music, and even beauty pageants that are occasionally held here.

To get to Walking Street Koh Phangan, head over to the main pier of the island and it’s a quick 5-minute walk from here. Alternatively, for those coming from Baan Tai, the market is accessible from one end of Taladkao road which is near the traffic light at the intersection. It’s open every Saturday until 10pm.
