Travelling from Koh Tao to Koh Samui is a terrific way to experience what the Thai islands have to offer.

Lastly, there is another ferry with only one express service daily. It will take you from Koh Tao to Koh Samui, which is inclusive of hotel pickups for just 450 baht.
Generally speaking, the travel time to and from these islands will take an average of two to three hours. If you tend to suffer from seasickness, it is recommended to go for the quicker boats even if you have to pay a little more.
It also helps to consider booking your ferry tickets with a combination of bus or train if you need to later on, so you can enjoy a hassle-free journey. Once you get to Koh Samui, you can hire a songthaew which is their local version of a taxi, to get around the island.
