Lipa Noi Pier

Lipa Noi Pier is one of Koh Samui’s main ferry terminals, located on the island’s west coast.

It’s also situated along a lovely beach that is popular with travellers and children because of its shallow, rock-free waters.

Aside from being a busy port, the area surrounding the pier is also worth staying a few nights in. Several locals reside nearby, but Lipa Noi has excellent luxury accommodation as well.

A boat from Surat Thani or Koh Phangan can be chartered to reach Lipa Noi beach, with the journey taking around half an hour from Koh Phangan and 1 hour from Surat Thani.

The Lipa Noi Pier facilities are rather simple; there is only a walkway above the water, and the office of the ferry operator is nearby. Some food and drink stalls are available to buy refreshments for your trip, as well as local restaurants.
