For those looking to be the centre of the action, head to Chaweng. Chaweng is the perhaps the most popular town in Koh Samui and is located on the east coast of the island. All visitors should visit Chaweng beach as its vibrant and pulsating nightlife are a sight to be seen. There is also a lot to see and do around this area and choices of activities and sightseeing tours are close to endless.

Bophut boasts a laid-back setting for those who enjoy quiet and relaxation. This beach village is located on the northern coast of Koh Samui, and just like Chaweng, Bophut is a well-established community. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, luxury accommodation, a wonderful seaside community and Thai-Chinese atmosphere.

Lamai is known for its scenic coastline and picturesque setting – just south of Chaweng and is easily accessible from most of the prime locations around Koh Samui. Lamai beach is perfect for families and couples alike because it offers an idyllic setting compared to Chaweng. So if you love peace and tranquillity, then choosing a hotel, guesthouse, apartment or resort in Lamai is a great choice.

Head down to the south of the island for quiet relaxation or up to the north-west to party!
